Solid Oak Floating Shelf

A genuinely solid white-oak shelf, not veneered MDF, bored to slot over a concealed steel rod bracket so nothing interrupts the line. We mill the blank from quartersawn stock for stability and that characteristic ray-fleck figure, ease the edges, and finish it in clear hardwax oil. The kit includes the shelf, the wall bracket, and mounting hardware; it holds books, a stereo, or a row of ceramics. Mounts into studs in minutes. Dust with a dry cloth, wipe spills promptly, and it patinas evenly over time.
